Vision - Zoo
- We envisage a zoo world in which animal welfare principles shall be incorporated into all operations and practices.
- To carry out collaborative research in Zoo for evolving innovative strategies for providing the animals a better quality of life, enhanced longevity, higher genetic and behavioural viability and improved reproduction facility.
- To educate the visitors at large about the significance of Wildlife Conservation and to keep the life support system of nature intact.
- To provide adequate civic facilities for the visitors at appropriate and convenient places in the zoo including for physically disadvantaged persons.
- To serve as an institution for providing enjoyment and education for the people and in promoting conservation and sustainable living.
Vision - Museum
- We envisage museums to collect and display objects of Historical, Cultural, Artistic and Natural History significance for the purpose of preservation and education.
- To educate the public about the significance of the objects in respect of history, culture, artistic excellence and achievements.
- To serve as the scientific centre for the protection and preservation of the collections.
- To serve as a centre for entertainment, education and epitome of state’s identity.
