As per section 38(j) of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, teasing, molesting, injuring, feeding or causing disturbance to any animal by noise or otherwise litter the grounds in a zoo is prohibited. Anyone found guilty of this offence may face imprisonment. The punishment could be up to 3 years or a fine of up to Rs 25,000 or both.

Do not touch the museum collections, keep a safe distance between you and each collection, to avoid accidental touching, do not lean on walls or show cases. Food, drink, or gums are not allowed. Any sort of running, pushing, and roughhousing are not allowed in the museum. Appropriate museum behaviour is necessary to avoid accidentally bumping into and damaging works of art. We welcome visitors to photograph (without flash) or videotape the museum collections for personal use only.

• Teasing, feeding and disturbing animals by any manner.
